What a weekend! Friday I was sitting on the couch enjoying the fact that my long week was finally over and then it hit me...THE BIG MACK TRUCK...
I literally felt like someone had pushed me down a flight of stairs. Now seeing that I had been in pain a good part of the week and had just taken something to help with the pain about an hour before it hit me, I couldn't really take anything else.
I was happy to see when I signed on to the computer earlier this evening that I had a bunch of messages and I was given a few new awards. I want to thank
Davidd,
Psycho Babbling Basher and
7Ladybugsz for the wonderful awards and I would like to thank
Colie for the shout out about the blog buttons. I'm glad everyone found it useful. I really am honored.
While I sat on my phat butt this weekend I decided I needed to do something other than sleep the day away (
even though sleeping would have been most productive). Soooo...I ventured into bead-dome once again. I set up camp on the corner of the couch and blocked myself in.
(Click the link below to continue reading this post.)My 9 year old sat next to me pretty much the entire time and kept herself busy too. We made lots and lots of beautiful things that I want to share with you now.
I will first show you my 9 year old Amber's work. She made several book marks, a pair of earrings and a key chain...enjoy:

I think she did a fantastic job with all her creations.
Now for mine. I guess being sick brought out the creative juices. I think it was because I didn't have the energy to do much of anything else so it came out this way. Hope you enjoy and let me know what you think...
