What would you do for a Klondike Bar?

That title really has noting to do with anything I am about to write about here.  I just have been chatting in the forums about Klondike Bars and some other things I won't mention here so I thought I'd mention it because it's fun.

So I spent some time tonight reading some other blogs and I have to say, besides the ones that have some most excellent stories, most aren't much different than mine.  I do write about my life, my troubles, my upsets, my hobbies and other things about myself on here but I am reading much of the same stuff on others blogs.  The only blogs I can't seem to get into are the ones written by younger teens.  No offense I just don't relate to them any longer unless they are pretty generalistic.  Is that even a word; generalistic?  My spellcheck is telling me NO.  Oh well!

I am at a loss today and yesterday what to write on here.  I have had a pretty eventless day up until about 4ish when I was trying to take a nap with my youngest daughter whom I stayed home sick with today when I just started to fall asleep and heard a horrible gaging gurgling sound.  She was puking all over the place!  EEK!!!!  I can handle cleaning puke up when it's not on the carpet, in cloths on the bed or in hair and stuff!  I feel so bad for my kids when they are sick.  So far she's puked 4 times since 4pm and finally she fell asleep about an hour ago and no more puking since.

I have resolved to sleeping on the couch tonight.  I'm not too happy about that because both the couches we have are crap; the better of the two is the one my sick and silently sleeping daughter is on.  UGH!  I get the one that has the broken support in the seat so my back should feel quite lovely in the morning!  YAY ME!!!

I will be staying home from work with her again tomorrow I'm sure and I hope she won't still be puking.  She still has a bit of a fever so I can't send her to school.  So I'll try and write something more interesting tomorrow.  We'll see because I am kind of at a dead end with ideas on what to write about.

So it's snowing like crazy out here and when I look out the windows next to my front door I can hardly see down the street.  I don't mind the snow if I don't have to drive in it or be "out" in it.  It's pretty to look at though.  When I lived in Florida I did miss the snow from when I lived in Chicago...so we moved back, to Chicago-land (the burbs) that is.

I am now sitting up watching DVRed episodes of Psychic Kids: Children of the Paranormal.  It's pretty intense sometimes.  I wouldn't want my children to have to go through that stuff.

Well, I'm going to end this torment of boredom here for anyone reading this and say good night.  I am going to make the most of a crappy couch and try and get some sleep...I might sleep an hour.  If I can't sleep I will bake. :)
