Tuesday Morning Re: Dad's Surgery....=from Peta

Gracias Hermana Lala ~ I am glad Dad came out of his operation OK.

I realize more and more how vulnerable we really are in life and know that my prayers are with him and for the health of all of us. Our ages are catching up with us.

I myself have been out of commission since Saturday night when I was attacked with diarrhea, the runs and all that. Thus, I was going all day Sunday and Monday. Not a better sight. Now today it is Tuesday morning and I hope I am better by tomorrow.

I appreciate you keeping me informed about Dad's situation.

I spent the night over @ Liberty House II by where Bobby is at in Liberty House I. He us back on the wagon but has had so many relapses because his program has been weak. Then, he gets all distracted by this pregnant dame ~ a young lass ~ who he wants to save when he needs to focus on saving himself.

Alcohol and drug addiction are symptoms of deeper underlying problems that we need to resolve for us to ever stand a chance at getting better.

Life goes on and I am carrying more real life responsibilities, so not it is more important than ever for me to stay in good health.

I need to make changes in my diet and be more nutritional conscious.
I have been offline for a few days now and I hope no one is too worried. I had to call in sick today from work on the Salvation Army. I just need to focus more on my general heatlh.
Love, Petey

Hi petey;
Tried to call you earlier but phone was busy. I left a message on your cell.
Dad got out of the surgery around 1:30 or 2pm. which is the reason when you called, they told you that he was not there. NOT to mention he wasn't at the mercy hospital after all but they had sent him over to the Cancer Center building instead for the procedure.
Anyway, they only did the nose because it took long for the reconstructive part of the nose. They will do the forehead on Feb. 22 instead, which shouldn't be as long.
They used part of his ear to build the nose up on him, but chris said that everything turned out ok.
He will be going back in a week for the stitches to be taken out. I guess that will be when they tell him in what stage and what treatment if any will have to be done.
Take Care
Sis
