The Unorganized Jeweler and Her Pot of Soup

I am an unorganized jewelry maker.  I have been making jewelry (bracelets, necklaces, earrings, key chains, cell phone charms, book marks, lanyards for work IDs, rosaries and miscellaneous things) for about 5 years now.  I've put down the wire and pliers for a little over a year now but am getting the itch to start again.

So, today while making a nice pot of beef, vegetable, noodle soup (my own concoction), I drank my Starbucks and I took out some of the stuff that I have bought but just threw in a bag to be used at a later date.  This bag was filled with pendants, findings, chain, beads and charms...it was filled with ideas of what I intended on making.  I just never got around to it.

Some of the pendants I've collected but never used yet.
This is just 9 of the 100's I've collected.
I was completely overwhelmed but managed to make a few things, besides the incredible soup (yes, I am patting myself on the back because it was damn good!)  I took some pictures of my mess, my finished products and my soup!  I hope you enjoy!  (My picture taking skills leave something to be desired, so bare with me please...)

First my soup...it's amazing how good some beef stock, tender beef medallions, some veggies and cut spaghetti noodles can taste on a cold rainy day!  Yum!  Yay for experiments gone GOOD!

Where's the beef?

Carrots, zucchini, yellow squash, tomato, yellow and red peppers and corn.

Cookin' in the pot...see the bay leaf floating on top?

And the finished product.  YUM!!!

Ok, so here we go with my disorganization...

I am dressing "NOT" to impress today.
Oversized t-shirt and my hair pulled back.
It's not a great look for me!

And now for some earrings I've made...

...and that was my productive day; nice big pot of beef soup, a little reorganizing of my jewelry "stuff" and made a few nice pairs of earrings.  Now I am enjoying a couple glasses of wine, some Port Wine speadable cheese and crackers and Toy Story 2.  No work tomorrow and I get to sleep in!

Good night all!
