Sunday...Yes, Sunday!

Well, this past week besides it's business, has been crazy!  My computer at home was not working well and I couldn't get on and when I was at work I couldn't get on either due to a glitch with the firewall.  So I haven't been on here to be able to post much.  However, I was able to get on for a brief period of time to post about my fun Thursday!

Well, aside from computer problems, it's been a pretty good week.  For those of you who follow me regularly, you know I have 2 blogs.  This one and Bread ~N~ Butter.  This is my non-food blog and the other is something that's been a little while in the making.  It's getting bigger and thanks to For The Love of Blogs, and their weekly picks for Tasty Tuesday, my food blog is becoming more popular by the day.  I've gone from 2 followers to 16 in the past 5 days.  Thank you For the Love of Blogs!

 
Then, as I wrote in my last blog post I was gone all day on Thursday at the Operation Snowball outing.  I had fun and was pooped by the end of the day!  So now I will start a new week.

I've fallen off the wagon lately with working out and eating good.  I mean, I've been eating decently but haven't been watching what I've been eating like I should.  And as far as working out...well, I've kinda forgot about doing that.  So the nearly 10 pounds I've lost is now back to only losing 4.  So, back in the saddle I am as of today! 

Last but not least, I have been given an award!  Whahoo!!!  This is my first award and I will proudly show it off in this blog post and will find a place for it on my blog page itself!  Thanks to Big a & Davidd (just click on their names to be taken directly to their blogs).  Thank you both very, very, very much for this award!  You are both great!!!!!  Here it is:

Now, apparently, there are a few rules that accompany this award.  I must pass this on to up to 10 bloggers and reveal 7 facts about myself.  Since I'm still thinking about who I want to give this award to I will start with 7 facts about myself.  So here we go:

1. I am a mom & a step-mom of 3 girls, ages 9 and 17 and 20.
2. I have been a writer for a little over 24 years.
3. I have a fear of boats and big bodies of water (lakes & oceans).
4. I have a severe anxiety disorder and have been formally treated for it over the past 11 years.
5. My secret passion is baking and cooking...and from what I've been told I'm actually quite good at it!
6. My favorite color is purple.
7. I have eyes that change color (so I've been told...a lot). 

I know, that is lame...but it's all I can think of now.  I really am just an average Joe.  Now, for my picks for this fine award (again, click on their names or blog titles to be taken to their most excellent blogs):

• This blog is versatile as it's funny, filled with creativity and she has brought a tear to my eye.  Getting to know her has been a pleasure of mine.  So my 1st pick is Biohazard and her blog My Confusion Theory. 
• The next one is a blog I just recently had the pleasure of finding.  It's called not cake.  She actually has 2 blogs; one about cake and another about everything but cake.  It's a fun blog and has a variety of posts that make me smile!
• The next person is Kate Mohler of Hotdishing.  I love reading her blog and she is a fantastic writer!
• The next is for my good good coffee shop friend and her blog Just Whatever........  I love reading her blog as well and she's so much fun!
